Have you heard of Arabella’s book? We really appreciate that Arabella cares so much about the library because we do too! We do hope that Arabella’s book will help generate awareness and support to keep libraries open all over the country. We are working hard to keep the library available for her and everyone in Long Buckby and nearby communities when we emerge from lockdown.

Baby and Me

Due to the latest government advice, we are sorry but there will be no events until further notice.

This includes any event that encourages the public to gather such as Rhymetimes, Social afternoons, book clubs, sewing and knitting groups.

New course for parents with babies under 9 months, starting Friday 28th February.

A programme of 9 x 1.5 hour weekly play based sessions for parents with babies under 9 months promoting confident responsive parenting

Sessions include baby brain development, child safety and messy play. During the sessions we will provide information to support new parents whilst the babies play with age relevant resources. Each week there will be an activity where you can make something to take home with you.

  • First Session Date: 28th February 2020
  • Last Session Date: 15th May 2020


There will be no sessions on 10th and 17th April due to the Easter holidays and on 8th May due to the May Bank Holiday.
