- Voter ID Applications. Commencing in 2024 we can support you in applying for a VAC. To vote in local and national elections you will now need photo ID. A list of acceptable types can be found HERE. If you do not have any of these, you need to apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate (VAC). As we have Northamptonshire Libraries People’s Network computers available in our Library there is access available to many websites including subscription websites purchased by Northamptonshire Libraries. Library members can use them for free. These include:

- John Johnson Collection – ?Housed in the Bodleian Library in Oxford, the John Johnson Collection is generally regarded as the most significant single collection of ephemera in the UK

- British Film Institute’s (BFI) Replay service. It is a free-to-access digital archive exclusively available in UK public libraries. Thousands of digitised videos and television programmes from the BFI National Archive, partner UK regions and nations film archives are available to browse and enjoy, research or study – with some familiar and memorable, others rare and unseen for decades. It is accessible through the Media and guides to information technology section of online reference on the website and will automatically login on our public network computers. Please note: this is for personal non-commercial use only. Digital photography, filming or copying of any kind from the content on-screen is not permitted. Viewing content outside of public library premises is not permitted.
Computer Use (FREE on Fridays)
Payment is in advance for the amount of time you feel you will need and will give you access to: web browser, email & social media, search engines, printing from a memory stick or card and MS Office applications.
- £1 minimum charge for up to 20 minutes use
- Thereafter £1 for each subsequent 20 minutes of use.
Laminating – please ask a volunteer
- A4 and smaller – £1.70 per sheet
- A3 – £3.35 per sheet
Photocopying – different charges apply for b&w, colour and quantities
- A4 b&w –£0.25 per sheet; for multiple copies with a minimum of 50 from 1 original £0.15 per sheet
- A4 colour –£0.75 per sheet, for multiple copies with a minimum of 50 from 1 original £0.35 per sheet
- A3 b&w –£0.35 per sheet, for multiple copies with a minimum of 50 from 1 original £0.20 per sheet
- A3 colour –£1.05 per sheet, for multiple copies with a minimum of 50 from 1 original £0.80 per sheet

Printing On The Go – print your documents (A4 size only) from home, work or whilst you are out and about using your own device. Send your printing request to our printer prior to arrival via the following links:
