We are joining in with Green Libraries week with a ‘Going Green’ Treasure Hunt around the village.
Collect your FREE hunt sheet from the Library anytime from Tues 28th Oct and return before Tues 4th Nov.
Collect your FREE hunt sheet from Buckby Library & Hub at any point during the week and find all of the ‘Going Green’ facts hidden around the village. If you complete the hunt and return your finished answer sheet to the library before Tuesday 4th Nov you will be rewarded with a free book (adults and children) and a sticker for all children.
This year’s national campaign is ‘Seeds of Change – Make a Difference with Your Library’. The spotlight for 2025 is on encouraging libraries at all stages in their sustainability journey to celebrate their climate action – no matter how big or small.
From public and community libraries on the high street to academic, specialist and health libraries, Green Libraries Week showcases inventive and inspiring activities. The initiative connects libraries across the UK, providing support for green initiatives and celebrating how libraries help people build the skills and confidence to take action at every stage of life.
