March Exhibition

We are delighted to welcome back Anna Langton for our March Exhibition entitled Happy Houses & other Happy Places.

I’ve always done drawing and painting. There was always the thrill of seeing your painting displayed on the classroom noticeboard. This March, there’s the thrill of seeing my paintings displayed in the library for my own exhibition. Retirement on ill-health grounds – I’m a stroke survivor – in 2012 has afforded me the time to pursue art as my main hobby. I work in a variety of media, pencil, ink, acrylics, felt-tips, pastel, etc. Each medium, gives it’s own distinctive result. I started off painting landscapes, moved onto buildings, observational art – pencil drawings, made in situ, of people and places, and this last year, I’ve been developing my ‘Happy Houses’ theme. They’re colourful, they make me smile and I can put them anywhere I can imagine. It’s fun creating your own world.

I’m happy to accept commissions. My work can also be viewed on Facebook at ‘Anna Lou Art’ and on Instagram @annaloulb. It’s all for sale. If you see something you like, you can message me.
